Despite the fact that angels and demons are officially denied, gargoyles are known to exist, but their true origin is ignored. A gargoyle is a winged, reptilian humanoid and they are exceedingly rare, which gives them an only limited influence, but despite their tiny numbers, they are not to be taken lightly.
Gargoyles possess a technology which will nullify any sorcery (magic) and can erect force-fields to defend themselves and others. For this reason alone, angels and demons are terrified of them, due to their tremendous dependence on sorcery. In addition, whenever a gargoyle goes to sleep or loses consciousness, their body turns into a statue (stone usu. or metal) which makes them as indestructible in their way as any other cabal.
