Radulf Murdac
Radulf Murdac is joint constable of Nottingham Castle alongside sheriff William de Wenneval. He served as Sheriff of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the Royal Forests under King Henry II from 1180 to 1186.
He is a landed knight who holds the manor of Broughton in his own right, and the manor of Rotherfield Greys by right of marriage to heiress Eva de Grey. Both manors are in Oxfordshire.
He is an experienced lawyer, a former royal justice, and is one of John, Count of Mortain trusted courtiers.
