The council is led by the High Director, currently held by an esteemed High Elf named Elandor. History

Origins: The HighGrad Trading Company traces its roots back to the immediate aftermath of The Unveiling in 100 TRA. A time when the mortal realms were exposed to the wonders of Fae magic and culture, sparking an unprecedented demand for Fae goods. A group of visionary High Elf merchants saw this as an opportunity to not just meet this demand, but to foster greater understanding and unity between the Fae and mortal realms. They established the HighGrad Trading Company with the mission of facilitating trade and cultural exchange between the realms. The name "HighGrad" was chosen to represent the High Elf founders (High) and their mission of unity and bringing together disparate cultures and realms (Grad).
Formation and Early Years: With the support of Lady Aurelia, the HighGrad Trading Company was able to quickly establish a presence in both Fae and mortal realms. Aurelia's role as an emissary greatly aided in fostering trust and openness with their mortal partners. They prioritized establishing fair trade practices and ensuring mutual benefit, values that remain at the heart of their operation to this day.
Expansion: Following the signing of the Silver Accord in 150 TRA, the HighGrad Trading Company expanded its reach, establishing outposts in every major city in Faeloria. The Accord, which formalized the cooperation between Fae and mortal realms, opened new doors for the Company and their influence grew.
Current Status: Now, at 530 TRA, the HighGrad Trading Company is a major economic and political player in both Fae and mortal realms. Their network of trade routes and outposts is extensive, reaching even the farthest corners of both realms. The company is known for their fairness, reliability, and the high quality of their goods. But beyond being a successful commercial enterprise, the HighGrad Trading Company is a symbol of unity, cooperation, and the power of commerce to bridge divides and foster understanding among different cultures.
