Goblin Arrows
The characters are hired to escort a wagon travelling from Neverwinter to Phandalin. The wagon is carrying a shipment of supplies that the town needs to survive the winter. The characters should be able to comfortably handle any threat that arises on the trip. On the second day of the journey, as the characters crest a low ridge, they spot two dead horses sprawled about fifty feet ahead of them, blocking the path. Each has several black-feathered arrows sticking out of it. The woods press close to the trail here, with a steep embankment and dense thickets on either side. As the characters approach the dead horses, they hear a loud roar coming from further up the trail. Moments later, a group of Goblin bandits charge out of the woods and attack.
