Krydle

Krydle is a male half-elf and member of the Heroes of Baldur's Gate. Growing up the son of a major politician in Baldur's Gate, his independent streak led him to join the Blades of Burgust - a gang of thieves who stole from greedy nobles and unscrupulous merchants. Krydle left the group after it began transforming into a thieves' guild, but its leader had his mother assassinated in revenge. His best friend is Shandie Freefoot, and he adventures with Delina, Nerys, Minsc, and Boo.

Special Equipment. Krydle wears a cloak of elvenkind. He wields a +1 longsword. Fey Ancestry. Krydle has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put him to sleep.
Evasion. If Krydle is subjected to an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, he instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if he fails. He can't use this trait if he's incapacitated.
Sneak Attack (1/turn). Krydle deals an extra 14 (4d6) damage when he hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of Krydle that isn't incapacitated and Krydle doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.

Actions

Multiattack. Krydle makes two weapon attacks.
+1 Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8+4) slashing damage.
Dagger. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4+3) piercing damage.
Smokepowder Bomb (1/Day). Krydle throws a homemade smokepowder bomb up to 60 ft., and the bomb explodes in a 15-foot-radius sphere. Each creature in that area must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 17 (5d6) piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

Bonus Actions

Fast Hands. Krydle takes the Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object action. In addition, he can use this bonus action to make a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check, or use his thieves' tools to disarm a trap or open a lock.

Reactions

Uncanny Dodge. Krydle halves the damage that he takes from an attack that hits him. He must be able to see the attacker.
