KRYPTGARDEN FOREST

Located to the east of the Sword Mountains and north of the city of WATERDEEP , Kryptgarden Forest is part of the Moonwoods (as they are collectively known by some in the North). 
A portion of the forest just south of PHANDALIN is also known as the Crooked Forest because ancient creatures that lived there had bent some of the trees in order to provide clear pathways for travellers through the woods. Although until recently a quiet area, the writing of VOLO, describing the area's outstanding natural beauty, has seen a rise in travellers wishing to experience the peace that the wood has to offer, which has in turn led to an increase in attacks by treants and blights. The forest is also home to ancient dwarven sites, now ruined, but surely with treasures to be found.
