Camp Bert Adams
Founded in 1927 in what became the town of Cumberland the site was settled by those that would return to nature with their Pioneer scouts.
Districts
The camp was divided into two smaller camps named after the financial backers of the original expedition that founded the Camp; Emerson & Gorman.
Emerson was the primary area for those scouts that were in their teens as they had unrestricted access to Lake Campbell when not fulfilling camp duties.
Gorman was for the younger scouts or those with special needs.
Each camp section had its own dedicated staff, kitchens, and bathing setups.
