The Loop

Prewar I-285 was built to reduce the stress on the major roads in and out of Downtown Atlanta in its 63.85 miles it crosses I-20, I-75, and I-85.    Post-war 285 has been renamed The Loop and since their founding has slowly become the territory of the Hot Rodders. Over the years since they claimed the entirety of the loop, they have repaired the damage of time and bombs making passages along the entire loop possibly. The places that intersect with the three major interstates have become checkpoint areas limiting those form outside the loop from interacting with those within and controlling traffic on The Loop to those approved by the Hot Rodders  The biggest event of the region is the yearly race set to determine if newcomers can join the Hot Rodders or other lesser prizes. The survival rate for this races isn't high due to near lack of rules imposed on the race itself, and the ramshackle nature of most vehicles in it.
