Santino Cortez

Santino Cortez is a commander within the Army of the Free Economic Zone of the Mojave. Commanding the frontline Fortress Arizona along the FEZ/Legion  Border, Cortez is directly responsible for overseeing all movements along the very tense Colorado River. The primary mind behind the military doctrine of the Mojave Army, he designed one relying on superior firepower, fast advances, heavy bombardment, and close, fast-paced warfare, rounded out by air insertions of special forces at key points and moments. He would use these tactics to impressive effect in the Raider War, obliterating tough defenses, and wiping out hundreds at time. Despite his success and brilliant mind, Cortez's aggressive personality and warmongering would eventually lead to him being passed up for promotion by Michael Paulson, an equally brilliant, but more sensible and centered Commander. Now he focuses his days on designing intense and often exaggerated strategies to deal with the Legion.
