After a night at the circus, the party grappled with the troupe's plan to abandon the ailing owlbear, Sissy. Kibble decided to join the party, fleeing with Sissy as Jar'Daani questioned Po about a mysterious vulture relic. Meanwhile, Findabhair left to gather her clan against the Void threat, promising to return with aid.   En route to Neverwinter, a scream led them to a cave where they encountered Droop, now Droopinak Gritjaw, leading a resistance against the Cragmaw clan and The Black Spider, alongside Sildar. Tensions spiked when a captive bugbear seized a healer, only for Zhizah Rillah, a Miqo'te astral drifter, to fall from a portal and thwart the threat, then joining the party with aligned goals.   Their journey was interrupted by a Cragmaw ambush, quickly dealt with before setting up camp. However, the night's calm was broken as a golden dragon crashed nearby. As they met its gaze, they were suddenly enveloped by magic and transported through a portal to an unknown destination.

After a restful night at the circus, our heroes faced a moral dilemma as Kibble shared troubling news about Sissy , the two-headed owlbear no longer fit to perform, and the troupe's intentions to abandon her or put her down. Jar'Daani sought clarity from Po regarding the mysterious vulture relic, probing its significance and powers. Findabhair took a decisive step by leaving to rally her clan against the looming Void threat, promising to rejoin the party with reinforcements. As they departed, Kibble caught up, urging, "We should probably leave now," with Sissy lumbering along beside him.   On their journey toward Neverwinter, the serene forest was pierced by a distressing scream, diverting their path to a shadowy cave. Inside, they were unexpectedly reunited with Droop, the goblin they had liberated, now transformed into Droopinak Gritjaw, leader of a fledgling resistance against the Cragmaw clan and The Black Spider. With him was Sildar, the human companion of Gundren, both pivotal in rallying support against their foes.   The cave's tense atmosphere escalated when a bugbear prisoner broke free, seizing their goblin healer and threatening violence. At this critical moment, a mysterious portal opened above the fray, from which Zhizah Rillah , a Miqo'te astral drifter, descended. Her unexpected arrival, landing squarely on the bugbear, diffused the immediate threat. Recognizing shared objectives, Zhizah quickly aligned with the party, bolstered by their united stand against the Void.   The group’s journey resumed but was soon challenged by a Cragmaw ambush. The skirmish was swiftly handled, allowing the party to set up camp for the night. However, the peace was shattered by the sudden appearance of a young golden dragon , plummeting from the sky and crashing near their campsite. As the dragon’s pain-filled eyes locked with those of our heroes, a powerful magic whisked everyone away, transporting them through a portal into the unknown.
