Chapter 2: Part 4 Report

General Summary

The suspicious halflings (still not racist) In the best tavern in the best part of town a few halflings of dubious renown were looking for work to make us rich but it made our lovely bard itch. They asked around, tried to get information but nobody had heard of their station. Suspicions were raised, the halflings not hired but apparently shots were fired. Four of them, angry beyond reprieve an offer of ale refused, they started to leave. A mace was raised threatening Rain's might with our lovely bard just in time to stop a fight. A mystery arrived on our doorstep one morn a thief back from the dead stealing from nobles. The group goes chasing wild tales of an evil twin but they did not find anything.
Our lovely bard and our barbarian cat receive an important quest, so they do just that to save a store from a monster fierce and hopefully earn a couple of beers. A fluffy ball of many eyes a cat it kills, or so tries. The fateful duo defeats it soon our lovely bard showing his boon. An explosion shatters the peace and quiet. Doors rratteling and windows shattering around the inn. Guards arrive at the scene and interrogate the party on what they've seen. The party leaves matters in a wizards hand but they also try to do what they can. A necklace of fireball they find with the guards they leave it behind. Eyewitness give the party the perpetrator's description and the city guard warn them this is not something they should get involved in. The party ofcourse ignores this and asks a dead gnome's witness. They visit their old friend volo and tell him they want reinier to konw that this operative has lost the stone of golorr and that they know what it was for.
