Chapter 3: Part 2 Report

General Summary

Lances song!   The search for the evil automaton The party goes to the house of inspired hands to find the creators of the destructive automaton But find theirselves into a hateful dance Ambushed by a mechanical bird, immediately gone   The temple is entered with great haste Persuing the assailant with intent to waste Zohar misty steps onto the rooftop and sees a hatch into the building to drop   He tries for the door, "Room service" an old classic, but does not work this time while the artificer is distracted by the awe of all this our fateful bard can't think of a rhyme   Our sorcerer teleports into a locked room a daring move, but it might be his doom he finds a robot that can't speak which tries to sign, but to him it's all greek   The party follows valetta up to the top floor a strange lock on its door the party knocks, something knocks back valetta threatens to attack   Nim produces a key, opens the door the party surprised to find our sorcerer on the floor an evil twin built by a robot further work in the temple he will not   Zohar finds the nimblerod 3000 a device to find Nim's literal right hand After some attemped rooftop shenanigans the acolytes believe our good bard Lance   For lack of a better plan the party ask to the city guard to get any help they can the wizard and the guard arrive in the tavern again and ask the party how and when   The party tells them what they know but do they tell them about the device? no! they walk all around waterdeep for three days and the device does not give a beep   Reinier arrives in the tavern for a beer hhe tells the party what they already know but does not carry their investigation to the next gear and the arcane blade is unsure which way to go   Zohar knows a way to rent a griffin but its not something he wants to let the party join in they also heat of a suspicous man hidding in a villa, from the crime scene he ran   Lia and Zohar meet the griffin handler and see Bonesnapper in all its grandeur he does not accept Zohard and also rejects the artificer   They convince the handler to do their work with a scoff she does so, with a promise of a song our fateful bard wonders where he went wrong but the gambit pays off   The party is however very much surprised as the device has hummed more than once, a real winner the party walk up to the ship undisguised and are soon talking to the captain who invites them for dinner   A dance of question and answer that leaves nobody any wiser a lot of wine was drank that night and the party decide to take a guard ride   To the villa they go the next day and inside they try to tlak their way the door slams shut, the guard wins the party tries to find another way in   A cloud of fog, a jump over the wall Zohar does it all The gate is locked, the sorcerer spotted a fight with a gardener plotted   Two dogs try to bite and miss at Zohar's cry the party believes something is amiss just in time, the sorcerer comes back over the wall wounded and hurt but in one piece not a total loss all-in-all   To the guards they go again but before the wizard shows up for our gain a man enters the tavern in a drunken haze telling Lia something meant only for her gaze   They tell a story of an evil mercenary who seemed very scary they needed help taking them down and turn to a bard of great renown   Our lovely bard finds the evil guys but they see through his disguise they attack himn together, the danger grave but our lovely bard escapes almost unscathed   The party goes in search for retribution but will they reach a satisfying conclusion? the party works exceptionally well together now although Rain's burning hands almost burned off my eyebrow   Our lovely bard goes down in the fight even tho;ugh he did everything right the party barely wins in his absence whatever will they do without our Lance   The evil is slain, Waterdeep safe again Although almost their bard was slain.   Tenday (5) - Loan: 1052 dragons Tavern: 20 dragons
