The treasure (hunter) map

by Lance Stormsong   The party goes to find a mysterious woman old and wise, To borrow, buy or steal her device As they arrive ath the dock The Xanatharians are already there to knock.   They tell them to move along but that's where they went wrong The fellowship never backs down from a fight and this time they're even in the right.   Two Xanathars quickly fall asleep a third set aflame. The price paid was steep The door is hit as well. Scorching ray, what a mighty spell.   Rain is hit by a crossbow bolt in the shoulder but our fateful bard steps in to save her Snow misses again, RAGE luckily we still have our mage.   Reinforcements arrive on the scene An assault from two sides, very mean The enemies number eleven The question of defeat becomes not if but when.   Brains all over the boat Snow for once is our goat Rain is saved by the dark But it is certainly no walk in the park   From the darkness thunder booms A man falls in the water, but danger looms A terrible monster emerges from the dephts Can we be saved byh misty steps?   The party fells its foes one after the other Our fateful bard insults the merrow's mother A harpoon pierces Zohars side And the creature pulls him in for a bite.   He flashes up to the top of the ship Safe from the merrow's pointy whip Lia is attacked, the next in line Which gives our fateful bard another chance to shine.   A second time the Artificer is hit The merrow just doesn't know when to quit She immediately goes down And threatens to drown.   Our daring bard jumps into the water To save the life of our Artificer A worthy deed worthy of fame Surely this will give him a new name.   A final flame from Rain's hand The Merrow makes his final stand A second time Lia gets knocked out Does this make the merrow proud?   ln a fit of rage Snow kills the foul creature Just fast enough to reach 'er Two enemies left, still on the ground Not much longer will they be around.   The last bandit agrees to die Vicious mockery is the reason why The treasure hunter lets the party in But where do they even begin?   Theyu haggle, lie, cheat and beg But they can't reason with the hag The keyu was in her possession all along But the Xanatharians were doing her wrong.   The name of the key is enough to make her trust us But she makes a minor fuss The key is in possession of her rat Hiding in a Mausoleum, a real problem, that.   The party goes to the inn to rest Going to the mausoleum by day seems best Rain sees they are being followd by a geyser The party interrogates it but cecome none the wiser.   "Watch them" is their only clue They have learned nothing new To the city of dead they go What secrets will the show.   The graves are desecrated, picked clean Whatever coult it mean? Agents of the beholder appear But the party literally can't hear.   Once again the party is attacked For a stone they haven't got \The dwarves certaintly will rot. Or at least get whacked.   (We found a key)
