Has a gnarly scar over one eye which was blind and milky white. Despite being told it was an old wound, Alun Coalshield managed to heal it somewhat and help restore some of his vision there.

Later after returning to Windspire, he tried to help Gozva Giantsbane Growler Appleeater Vathkelke to divine for her twins' spirits but was not able to find them.
