Savants

The Savants are the ruling class of the Derro in Tor Hodrn, and elsewhere in the Underdark. Born with natural, sorcerous magic, Savants are raised to command other Derro. Much of Derro society is built around magic, and being born with it naturally is considered a powerful blessing, a sign from the Gods that these individuals have the right to rule.
