The Depths

The Depths are a northwestern region of the Underdark. They are characterized by beeing the deepest, most dangerous, and most desolate portion of the Underdark. There are two powers in The Depths. The first is the Illithids out of the city of Mezkara, who dominate most of the region. The second is the powerful, solitary Sapphire Dragon Ishardra. It is the only region of the Underdark that has no tunnels that access the surface, save for the one beyond the Sunwall.
