Wood Elf
Called Talnori or “True Ones' ' amongst themselves, many Wood elves are from great forest enclaves such as The Hidden Tree or The Singing Wood. Wood elves that live in such enclaves defend their traditions diligently in the face of imperial assimilation. Many are reclusive and distrusting of non-elves.
Wood elf society encourages wisdom among its members, along with proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow. Wood elves also tend to be well-acquainted to the land they call home, and often are able to hide completely from the human eye even when they are only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, and other natural phenomena.
Wood elves are also known in various places as wild elves, Grugach, Kagonesti, green elves, or forest elves. Wood elves’ skin tends to be copperish in hue, sometimes with traces of green. Their hair tends toward browns and blacks, but it is occasionally blond or copper-colored. Their eyes are green, brown, or hazel.
