The Tempest

The Tempest is the name of the storm that separated Fennengath from the rest of the world.
Some say that a hundred ships wrecked along the Fennengathian coast during the storm, stranding outsiders. Those aboard those ships, whether explorers, traders, or pirates, would transform Fennengath into the culturally diverse continent it is now.
Records about the storm vary, and some believe the storm still rages on, just past the horizon. Fennengathian history is often thought of as having started with The Tempest, with all Pre-Tempest structures and ruins considered ancient. Very little of Pre-Tempest Fennengathian history or culture is known.
