The Wrathful Widow

A popular, well-kept tavern located in the heart of Valport Harbor, just west of the Trade Market. It is owned and operated by a Vulpes named William Torren, alongside his two children, Dreifus and Nessa, as well as his second wife, Drenna, who is something of a local celebrity. Patrons will find quality food, drink, and general boarding in comparison to other establishments in Valport Harbor.

The Lucky Foot Inn

Located near the east gate of Valport Harbor, The Lucky Foot Inn is a large, rundown building that serves as a last-resort for travelers in need of a place to stay. Rooms provided are extremely small and often have no natural light, whose only furnishings are shoddily constructed bed-frames with small, straw-filled mattresses. If you can't find (or afford) rooms elsewhere and don't want to sleep on the streets, this is where you go.

The Dockyard Inn

A fairly large building located just to the north of the Valport docks owned by Platinum Spoke. The Dockyard inn provides modest rooms alongside mediocre food and drink for those who need it. It is primarily used by sailors and merchants who are passing through the city and only require short-term lodging.

The Guard House

A modest tavern located to the east of the Valport docks that is run by Toreda, the local military force. It is primarily frequented by local sailors and soldiers of the city, as well as the occasional merchant who is unable to find lodging in Highcrest and is concerned over the security of establishments in the harbor.

Valport Trade Market

The Trade Market is a section of the Harbor that has been designated as a location to conduct trade between travelers and locals. So long as a small fee is paid, prospective merchants can set up shop in any of the designated spaces in order to sell their wares.

Leper's Stow

The Leper's Stow is a tent city comprised of people who are unable to get registered into the main part of Ashera, and who lack the funds to afford suitable lodging. It is filled with thieves, orphans, and travelers who have just hit a streak of bad luck. It is common knowledge to avoid this section of Valport Harbor.

Gambler's Row

The Gambler's Row is a collection of unregulated, underground gambling establishments. While the facilities are mundane, there are virtually no restrictions on what occurs here, so long as money continues changing hands.
