Taalorang Military
Structure
The basic field army consists of 100,000 soldiers who are broken into groups by tens. The smallest unit is the Andat. The emperor is traditionally the leader of the military, with no other commander between him and the Ganrins. In rare occasions when a male inherits the throne and is the ruler, he appoints someone the rank of "King of Arms".
Darga is translated as Captain
Jagota is translated as Major
Noyar is ttranslated as Colonel
Ganrin is translated as General
There also exists an elite group of soldiers known as the Blessed who serve as the imperial guard. There are about 100 of them in total.
Public Agenda
To protect the cities and villages of Taalora from threats both external and internal, whether it be invaders from another nation or wild animal attacks. The wandering andats serve as law enforcement in remote villages.

The military is made up of about 142,400 troops. 100,000 of them are part of Andats while the remainder work in support positions.
