ToD: Session 85: The story of fire and death

General Summary

As the party returned from the Council of Waterdeep meeting and Ray and Sun amitting their help in the assasination of Arthagast Ulbrinter. They then went to the Firefly Villa where Leo asks the rest of the party if they would join him to kill a Dracolich. The one that destroyed his home 200 years ago and is currently in between the path to the Well of Dragons for the armies of the council. Leo Kennedy said that they could Teleport there with a spell he learned. So they slept for the night and in the morning Leo gave a letter to Darcy and then they went to Leo's old home; Dragon's Rest. As they teleported they missed their mark, and arrived in front of a volcanoe surrounded by a scorched forest. They quickly realized that this was not the correct location and Leo teleported them back to the Firefly Mansion where he started crying.
In the Firefly villa the party got some tea and cookies and Stanley got the suck some psyonic energy from Leo to regain some intelectual power. They all waited out the day and the following day they again set out to Dragon's rest. As they teleported they arrived at the edge of a small village near a river, overlooking the village was a volcano with its smog covering the area and making it harder to breath. They saw figures walking trough the village and as they approached closer they smelt rotten egg in the air. When they entered the village they heard a child screaming to not take away her parents and saw figures going inside their home and dragging them out.
The party initiated a fight against the wights and undead Guard Drake's. During this the fire began flaring up and a fire elemental erupted from the flames. The party started out well until Ray heard sounds coming from the temple in the town and entering it. This triggered an ambush by the undeath and drakes and made it more difficult, but they managed to kill all of their opponents. They then heard a voice that was deep and commanding, each word echoing with a raw force and presence, saying; I ssssee you…, you took my meal, I will show you what I took.
They then saw their surroundings change into what the village looked like 200 years ago, with people praying in a pristine temple and Leo seeing himself and his father fishing in the river. And after some moments they saw the sky turn a crimson dark and heard people screaming, as they saw the old Cult of the Dragon enter the village and a Red Dragon, larger than any they had seen before land on the temple and melting the platinum statue of Bahamut.
As the vision faded and they entered the temple of Bahamut, Vox stayed outside and she saw an old man walk inside the tower asking her to come in which she refused. As he entered he saw Sidon Psári and Sun dancing in the temple. He talked with Leo about his destiny and why he was chosen. He answered the questions, saying that Leo was in the one who had the gift of stopping the cult. And that he was awoken to weaken the Dracolich. As he was leaving he said that the party should question Vox abou who she is.
