Adeline was apprenticed to Harriana Hawkwinter on her 10th birthday, the daughter of a noble family down on its fortunes and unable to secure her an advantageous marriage. Quiet by nature, she was overlooked by other knights who mistook her quietness for timidity. Lady Hawkwinter recognized her intensity and intelligence and agreed to be Adeline’s mentor.
Adeline has dark hair that she pins up in long braids. Now in her early teens, she has become a skilled archer and scout and loves to draw.
