Alliance Against the Cult of the Dragon

The party heads to Elturel to meet with Leosin Erlanthar and Ontharr Frume. There, they are invited to a meeting at the tavern called a Pair of Black Antlers. The meeting consists of Leosin and his monks, Ontharr and his knights, and the party. Leosin represents the Harpers and Ontharr represents the Order of the Gauntlet. Together, with the party, an early alliance is formed against the Cult of the Dragon. The party then leaves on their mission to follow Rezmir and her forces to Baldur's Gate.

The party arrives in Elturel to find Leosin. When the locals say they have not heard of him, they ask for Ontharr Frume to which they are led to the tavern Pair of Black Antlers. Leosin and Ontharr welcome the party and invites the party to join them for a very important meeting. In the mean time, the party is invited to socialize and test themselves against him. Leosin encourages the party to do so to earn favor with Ontharr.   The party then tells Ontharr of their exploits with the raid on Greenest, the sangromancer, the Mere of Dead Men, the raiders' camp, and the dragon hatchery. Quacey trains and spars with some of Ontharr's knights. Maxwell competes in an arm wrestling contest with Ontharr. And Crux challenges Ontharr to a drinking contest followed by a sparring match between the two of them.   Afterwards, the three groups convene and discuss the threat of the Cult of the Dragon and what its possible goals might be. After further discussion; Leosin (representing the Harpers), Ontharr (representing the Order of the Gauntlet), and the party agree to form an alliance against the Cult of the Dragon.   Leosin reveals that Rezmir and her forces are probably at Baldur's Gate. transporting the wealth they stole from Greenest. The party agrees to track down and follow Rezmir.
