Papry
A small fae that became a common house pet in the Feywild
Their Fey Rule has them absorbing light during the day and giving of a soft glow at night. This glow has mild healing effects, curing small ailments and healing minor cuts over the course of the night
Basic Information
Anatomy
Light and made almost completely of fluff, the Papry are almost completely weightless, seemingly not even having flesh or bones underneath their fur
Genetics and Reproduction
Like other fae creatures that inhabit the Feywild, the Papyr are all completely physically the same including their Fey Rule, because they simply divide every 10 years. After doing so, one of the copies will fade away slowly becoming light over the course of 5 years, before vanishing altogether. This split can however be coaxed out of the fading Papry to further increase its lifespan and facilitate population growth for the Papry
Ecology and Habitats
Papry usually inhabit the forest of the Feywild, but will move into populated areas to be around people preferring the company of others
Dietary Needs and Habits
They do not require any food at all, but enjoy eating vegetables whenever they have the chance
Additional Information
Domestication
The Papry commonly wonder into Fey towns in search for someone to spend time with, people quickly began to accept these small creatures amd quickly adopted them as household pets
Uses, Products & Exploitation
As they are almost entirely fluff, their rule has no effect after being killed, there is almost no benefit at all to butchering the Papry, though sparingly, people have been known to harvest Papry fluff to make clothing and accessories. This however is generally looked down upon in the Feywild
Average Intelligence
They are only slightly more intelligent than your average dog, but like dogs, can form strong connections with people
Civilization and Culture
History
The Papry were created when Reemus had conducted an "experiment" centuries ago. With permission from Titania, he awakened a ball of cotton then proceeded to give it a Fey Rule, this resulted in the first Papry. After this Reemus simply released them into the wild and called it a success
