The host of the Cosmic Captain finds himself inbued with a different understanding of the universe, something that has been dubbed the Cosmic Awareness  It has been described by past Cosmic Captains as feeling the building blocs of the universe shift and move around them.

With training, Cosmic Captains become able to manipulate these blocs. Feats accomplished with this power range from unscrewing the lid of a jar without touching it, to displacing dozens of people through space with a snap of the fingers. The most impressive feat ever recorded performed by a Cosmic Captain was the closing of a Black Hole.
