Entombed Warrior

Creation

When a warrior of the The Gerrean Covenant who has led an illustrious career is approaching an age where they can longer fight, or if they are grievously incapacitated, they are offered the opportunity to keep serving the Covenant as an Entombed Warrior.
Seen as a great honour, very few refuse. And as their body is kept alive artificially, the Entombed Warrior can pilot the large exo-armor into battle for several decades before all the systems keeping them alive finally fail, and the exo-armor is reused for another warrior. Rare are the instances where the armor is first to fail.

Weapons & Armament

Entombed Warriors often have an arm replaced with a heavy weapon, such as a Minigun, a Fusion Cannon or a Laser Cannon

Armor and defense

Heavily plated armor covers the Entombed Warrior from head to toe. As thick as most conventional tanks, the armor can repel most types of conventional weaponry.  Wiring is protected under the armor, leaving only a select few joints that could be used as weak points by an attacker.
