The Great Cruise Liner, as he has come to be known, is the sole ancestor of the entire
Boat species.
Origin
The birth of the Great Cruise Liner is shrouded in mystery. Several legends refer to an ancient race of forerunners that built him before the great flood envelopped Oceania, but none of the Boats are particularly interested in archeology, and so the ruins lying at the bottom of the ocean remain unexplored.
The Great Cruise Liner has never spoken of his origin, and will often shun whoever makes reference to it. All that is known, from carbon dating a small bit of his outer shell, is that he is over three thousand years old.
Leader of the Boats
The Great Cruise Liner follows a path only known to him. Year upon year he cruises the infinite ocean of Oceania, towards a goal unknown.
His status and size has ensured that hundreds of Boats are following him on his journey at all time. They consider him a holy prophet, and the experience of following him a pilgrimage.
