Hytheria
Geography
The dimension consists of two main layers, the Hytherian Peaks and Celestial Wilds, amongst a seemingly endless sky. In a spatial sense, the plane exists on top of the mortal world, mirroring the atmosphere of Gaion.
Ecosystem
Hytherian Peaks
The mountains that peaked atop the clouds became the primary seats of power for Hytheron's empire, composed of various metropolises. The capital city, Hytanica, rests on a cluster of the three largest mountaintops in Hytheria, while other heavenly metropolises rest on mountaintops spread out across the realm. Deities, angels, celestial humanoids, and the departed souls of Hytheron's righteous worshippers live in these cities. Summits that aren't inhabited by a city are usually controlled by Storm Dragons, Solar Dragons, Storm Giants, or Sun Giants, the latter of which are celestial beings exclusive to Hythenia. Sky-based creatures & spirits soar these skies.Celestial Wilds
Below the clouds, the mountains of this realm do not actually reach the ground, stopping just short of the dimensional border between here and the Aurovian Wilds. On these clouded, yet still bright mountains, the remaining biota of Hytheria resides. Departed souls that were deemed to not have lived a righteous life reside in this wilderness, often organized into small settlements with other souls. However, the Celestial Wilds can be a dangerous place for any soul to wander alone, as various celestial creatures feed on the organic energy of souls.Ecosystem Cycles
The Skies of Hytheria does not experience seasons, nor does it experience nighttime. While time passes as a similar same rate as it does in the mortal realm, it may not seem like it for mortals and departed souls first visiting/entering the plane.
Localized Phenomena
As the realm represents the atmosphere, all regions outside the Hytherian Metropolis are subject to volatile weather phenomena, such as hurricanes, tornados, thunderstorms, and occasional celestial activity (solar flares, extraterrestrial invasions, anything that is otherwise stopped from entering the planet itself). Hytheron's emotions also impact on the weather of the realm to a stronger extent than in the mortal realm, sometimes racking the entire plane with violent weather during moments of rage. In addition to the magical weather phenomena, strong weather patterns in the mortal realm can incite weather in Hytheria.
Fauna & Flora
Angels, celestial creatures, sky-elemental creatures, solar creatures, Storm & Solar Dragons are native to the Skies of Hytheria. Angels and sentient humanoids of these types live in glorious metropolises made of Cloud Marble and Celestial Gold, while other creatures and magical beings live in the vast skies. Storm and Solar Dragons are welcome anywhere.
In addition to celestial biota, the departed souls of those who worshipped Hytheron in life were rewarded with a happier afterlife. Most souls are allowed to roam the skies freely, but those who lived especially righteous by Hytheron were invited to live in the heavenly cities.
Alien life, such as extraterrestrial plants & creatures, often roam the wilds after landing here, sometimes taken for study. Sentient extraterrestrial life, however, is strictly overseen by the Angels, immediately confronted if detected. Most are killed or imprisoned for study, but a select few alien species have been deemed worthy to join the holy cities, given that they swear worship to Hytheron.

History
Hytheria was created at the beginning of the Mortal Age, formed from the remnants of the ancient realm Arcia when T'Nar was forced to rewrite reality and destroy it. As part of the Divine Interference Act, Hytheron was granted the entire dimension as his new domain, while banishing him from physically entering the mortal world in his true form. Hytheron quickly conquered the skies and forced any existing sentient civilizations to swear fealty to him, establishing himself as the realm's Supreme Deity. He also performed a divine rapture on his most devout followers, rewarding their loyalty in life with a celestial existence.
Hytheron built a capital city on a cluster of the largest mountaintop in the clouds, appropriately naming it the Peaks of Hytheria. He gave enough of his power to some of his followers to spread his empire (the Angels), while inviting the rest to live in his holy city, granting them celestial longevity.
The Angelic Hierarchy
Angels have various rankings in Hytheron's holy empire, operating as agents either for a superior angel, a Lesser Deity, or the Supreme Deity himself:- Solar - these are the highest ranking angels, answering to the Supreme Deity himself. Solars generally rule entire cities or oversee the Celestial Military. Only angels that were originally brought to Hytheria during the Rapture hold the rank of Solar, as they were considered highly loyal and effective servants to Hytheron during his reign on Gaion.
- Planetar - these are high ranking angels, generally answering to Solars or Lesser Deities. Planetars are extremely powerful angels, often sent by a deity or
- Deva - these are the standard
