Icetalon Spire

One of the many peaks in Kethendia, Icetalon Spire is one of four mountains home to prominent dragonborn clans. As its name suggests, this mountain is home to the Icetalons, a clan of silver dragonborn.

The Bitten Mountain

Icetalon spire is uniquely shaped, with a large crater cut into its side and top, reminiscent of a large bite mark. The Icetalon clan believes this is the work of a divine being, but it is also likely that Icetalon Spire is an extinct volcano that erupted once during the Era of Creation. The mountain is riddled with tunnels, allowing the Icetalon clan to grow as needed.

The Cavern of Tazlin

A particularly large tunnel, leading from the southern side of Icetalon Spire deep into the heart of the mountain, opens into a vast cave known as the Cavern of Tazlin. This cavern is the home of the Icetalon clan, who built a vast city by the cavern's large lake. This city, known as Tazlina, is named after the first settler of the cavern. The Icetalon clan rarely allows visitors, and does not often return to the surface. The few who do find the glaring sunlight uncomfortable and often travel under large cloaks, lending them an intimidating presence among other folk.
