Cariggan Woods
A forest that can be found on both the west and east sides of the Spine of the World.
Geography
Cariggan Forest is Full of large trees. It is home to many tall and wide trees making the forrest dence. From the trees dangles hanging moss. The forest can be found on both sides of the spine of the World.
Ecosystem Cycles
In winter some of trees lose leaves while others simply change color. Many creatures will hibernate for the winter and become less active though still pressent. the trees keep the forest from the biting winds that sweep across the grasslands so many anmals gather in the woods during the cold season. In spring many of the animals venture back out to the grass lands and the mountain. The trees will begin to turn green once again. In summer the trees will be fully green and many other plants will bloom. Animals will be active during the summer months though not nearly as numerous as the winter. in fall animals will begin to return to the forrest to hide from the winter winds.
Fauna & Flora
many common animals call the forest home. deer wolves birds and rodents. Owls bears are known to be seen from time to time as well as storm owls.
Natural Resources
The forrest is great for hunting and gathering wood. There are many types of berries and mushrooms that can be found in the forrest as a source of food. There is a small fresh water spring that serves as drinking water.
