Dunstead Hall
Dunstead Hall is a grand, imposing structure located at the heart of Rymewake, a small town in the north of Taiseanam. The hall is made of stone and stands three stories tall, with a high-pitched slate roof and numerous chimneys. The entrance is marked by a pair of large wooden doors, which are adorned with intricate carvings of jousting sticks, shields, and other heraldic symbols. A wide, cobbled courtyard stretches out in front of the hall, with stables, barracks, and other buildings lining its edges.
Inside, Dunstead Hall is a marvel of medieval architecture, with high-vaulted ceilings, arched doorways, and ornate decorations throughout. The main hall is dominated by a massive fireplace, which crackles and spits with flames even on the warmest of days. The walls are adorned with tapestries and portraits of previous lords and ladies of the House of Dunstead, while suits of armor and weapons hang from the rafters.
The upper floors of the hall contain numerous bedrooms, studies, and private chambers, as well as a grand banquet hall that can seat dozens of guests. The Dunstead family crest, a well with a jousting stick holding up a bucket, can be seen on tapestries, flags, and other decorations throughout the hall. The hall has seen better days, and some areas are in need of repair or restoration.
