Born in 4E, 4 (551 BHM) to Eastking Ivorus Windslayer, Aundrea was destined to live up to of her father’s legacy. Born with heterochromatic eyes, one red and the other blue, became her symbol among the people of Wyndan, a striking physical manifestation of the duality she would come to embody as a ruler and warrior. As the eldest daughter of the Windslayer line, she grew up watching the slow fracturing of her family as her father aged, and tensions between her siblings, cousins, and their children over the Eastmonarch’s throne simmered into a cauldron of political strife. Aundrea was a formidable woman, having inherited her father’s warrior spirit and sharp mind, yet she often found herself maneuvering between family quarrels and the obligations of leadership, hoping to secure the future of the Windslayer dynasty while remaining true to the values of the East.
The defining moment of her life came during the chaotic and deadly First Eastern Moot of 494 BHM, where Aundrea herself was forced to face not only her brother, Eastking Evander, but also her sons and nephews in the brutal Contest of Challenge. The tragedy that struck her when her son Berold accidentally killed his brother Stephas during the trial left a scar on her heart, though it did not break her resolve. After defeating Evander in single combat, she claimed the throne as Eastqueen, though her relationship with Berold would remain strained from that point onward. Aundrea ruled for over five decades, navigating both internal family disputes and external threats to the stability of the region. She stepped down in 443 BHM, leaving the throne to her only surviving child, Berold, thus avoiding another bloodstained Moot. Aundrea’s reign was one of strength tempered by loss, a balance of the warrior’s duty and the mother’s grief, and though she handed the throne to Berold, the weight of her victories and sacrifices ensured that her legacy would be remembered long after her time in the Hedgespire had ended.
