Born in the Fourth Era, Year 11, Evander Windslayer inherited his title from his father, Eastking Ivorus. Raised in the dense forests of Arboran, Evander grew up learning the political and military strategies that kept the East a formidable power within Galfin. A Wyndan man, his connection to the deep-rooted traditions of the region was integral to his identity, and he wore his authority with quiet dignity. His slim figure, marked by a square jawline and chestnut hair now streaked with gray, often commanded respect both in court and in battle. In his spare time Evander would play ballads from battle on his fiddle.
Evander's marriage to Hanifa Rhytyn was a strategic arrangement, orchestrated by Hanifa’s father, Tombking Abuu, to solidify ties between their families. Hanifa moved to Arboran from the distant desert when she was young, and though their marriage was one of convenience, over time, she became a trusted advisor and consort.
