When Vitala met Cynhelm Oakhand, she was immediately drawn to his intelligence and adventurous spirit. They fell in love and were married shortly thereafter. Vitala's humble beginnings made her sympathetic to the common people of Fogholt, and she often advised Cynhelm on ways to improve their lives. She became known as the "People's Queen" for her efforts to establish schools and healers in the kingdom.
