Twenty-four inches from pommel to point, the Dagger of Nyssisi is a keris-type blade. It is diamond-tipped and made of titanium and tungsten with a open-mouthed dragon head as a pommel. According to legend, the dagger was forged out of a single diamond, which is far from the truth.
The blade was forged by Alulim, the first king of Sumer. He wasn’t human, which was why he supposedly ruled for almost 30,000 years. Some say he was Adam, the first civilized man, sent straight from God. No one knows what he truly was, but it was clear that the Dragon King was not fond of him and set his sights on taking the world back for the non-human ilk. According to legend Alulim made the dagger fearing that the Dragon King would come and kill him. He forged the dagger himself with the strongest materials he could find. It took approximately forty-five years to create. And it turned out that the Dragon King was never coming for him.
“Nora, this is the Dagger of Nyssisi,” the dwarf said. “Be good to it and it will be good to you.”

Significance

It was thought to be a baseless story, but when the dagger was presented to Nora Barker, it was made clear to be as important as any other relic.
