  Report begins...
This is the second report on the activities of Subjects 4777, 4778, 4779, 4780, and 4781, along with their relationship to, and interactions with Subject 1. Data for this and all other reports on these subjects have been gathered through mostly secondary and tertiary sources, with only occasional data from the primary sources themselves. As such, data may be subject to the degradation effects of copying from one source to the next. For full reliability percentages, see the attached charts.   This report begins with the remaining details for "Event 3" previously covered in Report 1. Full details were not available at the time of that report, and so have been collected here.

Event 3

Day 104 of 4,543,626,881 (14 Apr of 98 AF in local notation)
The subjects successfully apprehended Bart Geffmon and his brother Benji at the Harvesters' headquarters. According to Subject 4781 (designated "R.A.N.C.H.E.R." and referred to as such henceforth in this report), the subjects were attacked without provocation as soon as they arrived, although based on interviews with two of the former Harvesters, this would appear to be a not entirely accurate description of events.   It would seem that there was a firefight between the subjects of this report and the Harvesters, in which several people were injured, but not killed. However, Subject 4780 (designated "Ackers" and referred to as such henceforth in this report) was heavily damaged to the point of becoming inoperative. Extensive repairs were necessary to bring him back online (detailed below).   Eventually, the Harvesters retreated, with several of their members running off completely. After some heated "discussion", Bart and Benji Geffmon surrendered. The subjects brought the two first to the Apocalypse Bar, where they made an apology to Subject 4 (designated "Dagger" and referred to as such henceforth in this report) for attempting to destroy the bar and putting people's lives in danger. Dagger then requested that Bart and Benji be taken to the Ardan town guard.   The subjects did as requested, then returned to the Coop camp.
Day 105 of 4,543,626,881 (15 Apr of 98 AF in local notation)
The subjects minus Ackers spent the morning of this day gathering supplies in Ardan with which to repair Ackers. Coop member Dwin Mahad, assisted by R.A.N.C.H.E.R. and two other Coop members spent the entire afternoon and several hours into the night repairing Ackers and bringing him back to functionality, apparently by making use, at least in part, of several redundancies built into his design.   Notes:
  • A greater understanding of these redundancies might help pinpoint Ackers's exact model. Such a discussion, however, would require an in-depth discussion with Dwin Mahad, an opportunity for which is unlikely to present itself without blowing cover.
  • The ability to enact such extensive repairs to soultech indicates a higher-than-average understanding of advanced technology, suggesting that closer attention should be paid to Dwin Mahad. While she was assisted by others, investigations indicate that she was the principal driver of the repairs with the others acting merely as assistants. Given that she is also currently accompanying the subjects on their current mission (see details below), I recommend designating Dwin Mahad as Subject 4782 and adding her to this series of reports or another series as deemed appropriate. Please advise.
This concludes the additional material to append to Report 1. New material follows.

New Events

Day 107 of 4,543,626,881 (17 Apr of 98 AF in local notation)
All five subjects plus Dwin Mahad met with Dagger at the Apocalypse Bar on the morning of this day before the bar opened. Dagger's back-up singers, conjoined Subjects 990 and 991 (designated "Sprig" and "Twig" respectively and referred to as such henceforth in this report; see also the series of reports on Dagger, numbers 0 through 528 for more information, reports 5 through 8 in particular) were also present at this meeting. It was held in secret, so exact details of the discussion are not avaiable, but it would appear to have been related to the Coop's previous problem of losing a quarter of their fuel.   Coop leader, Subject 4112 (designated "Fazul" and referred to as such henceforth in this report) arranged the meeting after Dagger suggested to him they seek fuel in Ooda. Fazul and the Coop Executive Council decided, based on their performance with the Harvesters, to send the subjects plus Dwin Mahad to Ooda to find fuel.   It would appear that no sensitive information regarding Subject 1 passed between Dagger and the subjects of this report plus Dwin Mahad. The meeting was simply to provide the subjects with information about Ooda and where to seek fuel. However, it may be possible to gain further information in the near future. Twig can be talkative, especially if given praise and gifts, and it may be possible to trick them into revealing more. This could be important due to surprising information that has come to light from talking to members of the Coop.   The subjects have been given a secondary task of meeting with "The Knights of the Round Table", the band headed by Subjects 2 and 3 (designated "Evgenia Ilyich" and "Niklaus Ilyich" respectively) and escorting them back to the Coop. Apparently, Coop member Onnya Sokolo has contracted the group to perform at her upcoming wedding. Please advise on how to proceed regarding this new information.
Day 110 of 4,543,626,881 (20 Apr of 98 AF in local notation)
The five subjects, accompanied by Dwin Mahad set out west into the Western Mountains in the morning in the direction of Ooda. No further information is available at this time. However, I have sent a message to NG14339E, informing of the subjects' impending arrival. I will include NG14339E's report on their activities in Report 3.
End report.
Report 3 to follow.

Re: Coop member designated "Dwin Mahad"
Dwin Mahad is one of several Coop members predicted to have an extensive relationship with the subjects of the Ashes of Intelligence reports. We simply needed confirmation on which it would be. We are designating her Subject 4782 and you are to add her to the subjects covered in the reports. You will acknowledge this directive immediately upon receipt of this message.
Re: Subjects 2 and 3
The invovlement of these two is not in any way "surprising". Simply because we have not chosen to inform you of this beforehand does not in any way change this, and you are to refrain from ever using such blasphemous language again. Doing so will result in termination. You will acknowledge this directive immediately upon receipt of this message.   However, in light of the news regarding Coop member "Onnya Sokolo", it has been decided that she be designated Subject 4783. She will not be part of any particular series of reports. Simply keep an eye on her and report on her as appropriate. You will acknowledge this directive immediately upon receipt of this message.
Message ends.
