Insults/Slurs on Sigom

For the purposes of this article, a slur is a term designed to insult others on the basis of race, ethnicity, or nationality. This article lists various insults and slurs categorized primarily by race.  

Folken

Fleabacks / Fleabaggers - Originally used by upper-class Folken to refer to diseased lower-class Folken. Fleas help spread diseases and infections and often only the wealthy could afford or procure aliments, or measures to confine sickly family members. It's use by non-Folken spread after the formation of Ohmreg.
Meal jockey - Based on belief that Folken are naturally lethargic and lazy. "Vie for their next meal"
Malux-Muk / Muker - Comes from the Ribaultian word for "untrustworthy", now mostly used to refer to Folken. Connotation has an impact on meaning.

Silenus

Pixiestyx - Originally a derogatory word in Silenus language, literally "Mischievous goat"
Styxmen / Styxie / Styxhead - Refers to any Silenus.
Carpetconsumer / Toweleater / Clothbroth / Flaxsnacks / etc - Referring to some who eat textiles

LupusJaws

Mutt - Self-Explanatory, connotations in regards to the individuals Hati/Family.
Soulless Fleaback - Probably a mispronunciation of 'Solus' which is a spirit in LupusJaw Spiritualism, in conjunction with Fleabacks (above). May have originated as Folken and LupusJaws live in similar climates and are usually indistinguishable at a far distance.
Dune Goon - In reference to excessive banditry in Throjak King territory.

Aligotarian

Mudnecks - Refers to Aligotarians who spend most of the day "neck-deep" in mud waiting for food. Similar to Mudlegs (below).
Marsh-trotter / Marshtrotter(s) - Aligotarian(s) from a poor tribe.
Timberhead / Timberheaded - Flat heads with bark-like texture.

Rhullians

Seaboon - Shorthand for "Sea Baboon", a wild animal
Nitchling - Slang for ocean inhabitants. A Nitch is a social stigma implying "They who lost glory". A person affected with the stigma is a Nitchling.
O'journer - An estranged Rhullian, A Rhullian who was born from the land and not the sea. "Dirt-Pilgrim". Mostly used by native Rhullians.

Gorgon

Hauker / Haukers - Means "Land Monster"
Snakecut / Snakemane - In reference to snakes on their head.
Cavermins / Cavie - Short for "Cave Vermin"
Geogaz / Geopupa / Geogazi / Gazi - From 'Geo' and 'Gaze' and 'pupils'. Reference to the petrifying ability Gorgon's possess.

Ribaulti

Mudlegs - Any commoner or inhabitants of swamplands. Largely used today for Ribaultians who reside outside of the swamps. Similar to Mudnecks (above).
Bleep-Blorp / Bug-Wug - Used in a mocking manner to mimic the way Ribaultian Languages gives names to nouns.
 

Tranorn

Skroot / Skrooting - A Tranorn who has broken a social rule such as being disloyal or a thief. Originally used for repeat-offenders in Trannoric law; One who must seek refuge outside of the homeland.
Norn / Nornie - Shortened version of Tranorn.
Trinketeers / Trink / Trinkie - Likely derived from Tranorns who excessively collected and hords trophies from hunts.

Graphion

Pukers - Archaic term. Equivalent of Pookers (below).
Pookers - Derived from "Pukers" as some Graphion's puke when threatened as a form of self-defense.
Grubboy / Skylarva - Originally directed at young Graphion men, who would consume rotten/decayed flesh like maggots
Fleshcarns - Social acceptance of cannibalism within Graphion society.
 

Nebuians

Neb - Short for Nebuian. A very universal slur used in most places to refer to people who are weak, often slaves/malnourished people. In some languages "Nebu" or "Neb" is the word for a slave.
Tramp-Lamp/Night-Lights - Common phrase referring to runaway slaves, usually exclusive to Nebuians.
Jeweltomb - A phrase coming from the idea that any golden item or jewelry may have been a Nebuian; Using a Nebuian corpse as a mold for making baubles or coins to be sold.
'Ling - Short for Changeling.

May remove later - Not sure if I like the idea of this content, though I think it makes sense from a player-perspective who wants their player to improve/get better or even as a storytelling element. Possibly keep as an offline doc.
