Silenus

An aloof species with varying obscure cultures with a twisted path. While they may be smooth-tongued compared to most species on Sigom, many can recount the instance they were swindled by their village Silenus, and are not easy to trust the next loquacious Silenus they run into. By their accounts, they come from a land "too distant" for most other races to comprehend, though truthfully their reasoning for arriving in the forests of Sigom is a mystery amongst their own. In either case, they are often outwardly friendly and easy to converse with, just keep in mind they could be hiding some kind of ulterior motive!

Physical Description

Silenus are slightly characteristic Satyroids that resemble mythical Satyrs. With thick rounded horns that bend backwards. Their ears are pointed, oriented towards their back. Their lower body resembles that of goat-antelopes with their feet being hooves and their lower legs appearing as back legs. A good portion of their body is furred, though several different groups can/may shave their fur off to be bare and naked. generally the face and chest regions are the least covered in fur, with the next being joints like knees and elbows. Their fur also comes in several saturated colors and is often dyed.

Society

Silenus society is often very distant when compared to others, as this appears to be a sign of their origins. Being charismatic and guile will get you far in most cases, though physical prowess and ferocity still reigns king, though abberaturges do find a strong connection to Wildern-style magic allowing them to be formidable enough to often surpass the skills of their physical counterparts. While always seeking to appease and make new friends, some more sinister Silenus have largely hampered the opinions of many outsider races to their kind, combined with strange customs and practices having an intricate web of friends that are not all Silenus is a remarkable feat.
