Xaria
Xaria is the deity tied closely to death, rights of burial, and often protection of he rested. Often only referred in burial sites and funerary rituals, it is believed she visits all souls and protects them as they make a journey in the afterlife. She is often depicted as a Folken or large feline predator with a missing ear.
Forms of worship
She is often worshiped in burial sites, graveyards, and ancient battle grounds to protect and honor the dead, there are some sects that believe the food given to them in these rituals gives them sustenance to those who have not yet found their way in the afterlife. Most settlements or towns will know of a devoted Xarian worshiper, who has the job of burying and preserving the dead.Lore
Xaria was a first generation Folken, bastardized with no known parents of the original Folken ancestors. When the original Folken ancestors had passed away due to age or disease, she became heavily invested in mortality, performing the first burial and funeral rites of those who had passed. It is said she buries all the dead for she cannot prove who her parents are, yet wants to bury the dead all the same way in case those she guides in the afterlife may be her parents.Relationships
