Fúmrá Alliance

Fúmic: Fúmrá /fuːmrauː/
Ptampic: Fúmátá /fuːmauthauː/
The Fúmrá Alliance1 is federation of four tribes of Tederans in the south-central Karatvánamb Forest of southeastern Túlmikkía, and while not as mighty as the Ptivamanaktem Alliance to the north, it may rival it one day. This emerging power has become a major hub for trade between the coastal Srali tribes to the east and select few Vevúni tribes around the Túlmikkían Great Lakes to the west, as well as independent tederans to the south, especially the Narákans.
The alliance's capital is Tanání, located in the central Iritífe Mountains to the west.

Structure

Government

The alliance is made up of four tribes, namely the Fúmi to the northwest, Jarúmbans to the southwest, Ífúrans to the southeast and Kafalans to the northeast, with the fúmi officially considered 'first among equals', but in reality are the ruling tribe. However, due to the Fúmrá Alliance's more decentralized nature than the Ptivamanaktem Alliance, their power is mostly confined to the land west of the river Hafamb.
Though the leaders and vast majority of warriors of the alliance are men, women are traditionally the ones who own homes and fields, and one's tribal membership and status is inherited through the mother, as in other tederan societies. Female shamans outrank male ones as well, though both groups -particularly the elders- wield an unusual amount of power and influence compared to those of other tederans, making the Fúmrá Alliance more akin to a theocracy than its rival.
The current leader of the Fúmrá Alliance is Adanók.
