Grúmalx is one of the seven provinces (alx) of the empire of Resak in Laxilþía, bordered by Kalixíalx to the north and Atal-Ódolalx to the northeast. One of the oldest parts of the empire, it's located in its southwestern part and traditional homeland of the Jatrilnúxans, who once ruled several kingdoms in the region before they were conquered by Úxakkus, first emperor of the Rexans.
Grúmalx is characterized by rolling hills, with shrubs and groves near the coast and to the north, and cacti further inland. The former area is a major wine- and wheat-growing region in the empire, while sheep and horses are raised in the latter as it's less suited for growing crops. Fishing, crab farming and casting bronze sculptures are also important industries in the province.
Its main settlement is Núldaxis on the western coast. Grúmalx's governor is Eirtúsus Zúax.
