Apan-Ódolalx is one of the seven provinces (alx) of the empire of Resak in Laxilþía, bordered by Vóx-Tingrenalx beyond the Katark Mountains to the north, land of the Laxúlans in Zraxos Forest to the east, Atal-Ódolalx to the south, Kalixíalx to the west and Pakróalx to the northwest.
The name refers to its location along the upper Noron River, a region characterized by rough terrain and mixed forests, the latter especially in the northern and eastern parts. Most of the population consists of Rexans and native North Hótics, the former generally found in towns and cities and the latter out in the countryside.
Apan-Ódolalx is an important source of cattle and wild game (especially deer), turquoise, gold, iron and tin. Its main settlement is the provincial capital of Vamnis.
