Selicari

Selicaran is one of the major languages of the old Adastrican Empire. It is seldom heard spoken today except by Selicari Priests, though it appears in many old records and inscribed on ruins throughout the Island Kingdoms. There is a common misconception that Selicaran is somehow related to the language of Gnomes, but scholars have been unable to find any evidence of this. Certain Divine spells use Selicaran incantations as a verbal component. Clerics and Paladins with proficiency in Religion may be able to follow the gist of the language with difficulty or decipher Selicaran inscriptions with enough study.
