Theophile, Abbot of Perigon
His Holiness Theophile De Perigon
Theophile is the Abbot of Perigon and is nominally in charge of the town. He fancies himself a scholar and spends most of this time pouring over the books and records in this Abbey. He is an aloof leader at best and prefers to leave the day to day running of the town to the key civic figures. The mine is relatively profitable which allows him to keep taxes in the region low, so despite his lack of interest in those under his charge.
He is most receptive to any literate person who is willing to engage him in discussion of historical or arcane matters.
