The legendary king Speargreat I (The Dragon Tamer) was born in the city and became king. He upgraded the city walls and then made peace with the dragons. He built the dragon stable (now the theatre), the Mage Tower, and the Great Library. when Speargreat was killed by the Giants, much of the city was destroyed. The areas inside the wall were rebuilt how they are today. the battle that decided the first great was fought near the city sometime between 560 BR to 530 BR. The founder of Greenfield was born in wallton in 505 BR and supposedly was a descendent of Speargreat. whet the split happened, there were four sieges of wallton, in which only one succeeded. Bluemire failed to siege the city in 338 BR, but in 327 BR, Riverflow successfully took the city after a long siege. they were thrown out thought when Sworfast I liberated the city. In 311 BR in Faregold I's campaign, Wheatking almost took wallton but was repulsed. The city has not been sieged by non-dark forces since. over the next few hundred years, the city grew. Then, during the Second Great War, It became the dark lord tyushpu nuntonhi's headquarters. When he was walking in the old town, one of his own sorcerers supposedly killed him (it was found out later that he was not dead). There is now a monument to the joyous day of the dark lord's death in the old town square. During the council of races in 1 AR, wallton was chosen as the meeting place and during this time its population grew rapidly. The banishment was also decreed in 11 AR in Wallton. The city slowly grew after that and is now the greatest city in the world.
