The Strife Emperor

Teetle, the Strife Emperor is the evil deity of destruction, war and conquest. His followers accept his call to conflict, seeking lesser people to break and subjugate. Warmongering nations and many Duergar Clans worship him as they conquer the world. The Strife Emperor twists all living things to his iron will, even forcing nature itself to bow to his whims. Teetle is also known as the creator of the Curse of Strife.
Teetle once a Paladin of Tyr was corrupted by a corrupted by the Lich Fenris. Fenris and Teetle where both members of the adventuring group 'Company of the Broken Soliloquy' and were looking to try and stop Vecna and Orcus from taking over the Shadow Realm and Material Plane. During there quest Fenris was corrupted by the Ring of Vile Darkness which led him to the Book of Vile Darkness. Once having the Book of Vile Darkness Fenris sought out to obtain the Hand and Eye of Vecna. Once in possession of the Hand and the Eye Fenris corrupted Teetle, manipulating him into this evil plot. As part of this plan Fenris and Teetle used the Book of Vile Darkness to complete the Vile Apotheosis Ritual where Fenris was unborn into a Lich and Teetle into a Death Knight.
The two began a campaign of death and destruction to gather more souls for the ritual to return Vecna to the Prime Material Plane. The two used their power to grow armies of undead and take power throughout the Shadowfell and Prime Material Plane. Over time as their power grew Teetles Bloodlust became insatiable and he was merciless in his quest to bring the living over to the army of the dead. Irina the Aasimar Cleric of Bahamut, and once friend of Teetle could not continue to bear witness to the actions of her one time adventuring partner. Irina confronted Teetle in Gloomwrought, begging him to fight the evil and return to his former self. Teetle looked with his flaming eyes and launched an attack the battle raged for days, and was truly brutal, all the while Irina begged for Teetle to fight the evil. Finally seeing that there was no hope Irina Called upon Bahamut for power to Banished Teetle to the Abyss and barring him from having the ability to escape. In an instant Teetle was banished to the Barrens of Doom and Despair.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

A dark reflection of the honorable warrior, the Strife Emperor is often depicted as a brutish ogre-like man clad in jagged black armor. Heads dangle from his belt and unblinking, piercing yellow eyes peer through the shadow that obscures his helmeted face.
