Xöngüü

The Xöngüü (/hʊŋˈwuː/, /hʌŋ-/; Faltish: [ħøŋˈɥy], Late Horil: ENEY, tr. ɣonɣwu [ˈɣoŋɣwu]) were a people of the ancient Dischitar. They are referred to as one of the groups of "mountain people" in Gdorukog's records, meaning they were native to the Utrisch Plateau. Horil sources also indicate that Bolu Alg, the Xöngüü leader after 439, founded the Xöngüü Alginate.   Little is known about the Xöngüü, as they left very few of their own records. Their language lacks a textual corpus, as they wrote their records in Horil. The only record of their language comes in the form of names written in Horil and Dvekmenu records. It is thought they were a Dischitic people and spoke the Dischitic Xöngüü language.
