Cedric Wyndhame

Cedric Wyndhame is the Saltmarsh harbormaster. He has the demeanor of a typical pirate (though it is not known whether he ever engaged in piracy). He seems well-respected by sailors, fishermen, and the town authorities.
Kray "Kraken Emily-Rose" spoke to the harbormaster on several occasions, after he began working on board the Octopus. He asked him regarding the Kracken's Kiss and its captain, and whether he had seen him come ashore with an elven ship's wife. Cedric replied that he had seen both Captain Renley and the ship's wife, but that Renley returned to the ship alone last time he came ashore in Saltmarsh. Kray further asked him regarding Silmara's kidnapping. Cedric had not seen anything, but gave information about two vessels - the Walrus and the Kestrel - which had left Saltmarsh within the last 20 days, for local ports of call. He also suggested that Kray take the matter up with the City Watch.
Cedric has a bit of a limp, which only adds to his seadog mystique. He speaks loudly, and though he does become irritable with people who ask pointless questions, or waste his time, he is generally helpful to those he finds worth his time.
