Helmont Mansion

This mansion was built nearly 20 years ago by *Trevisian Helmont, an alchemist by reputation. He apparently willed it to his wife, Idonia Berkhead, who, in turn, bequeathed it to Manfred Schlauger. It is not completely clear what the mansion's legal standing is at the moment (at least according to local authorities).
The mansion is located just over a league up the coast from Saltmarsh. It has acquired the reputation of being haunted.
