“Do you know why you are here, young Ilva?” Yingard, the High Priest of the Owl, asked. The thirteen year old shook her head quickly and averted her eyes from his intense stare. The bandage was still there on her lip, blood just beginning to stain.
It was just her and the High Priest in the Temple of the Owl, all the other disciples were escorted out during his meeting with the child. The entirety of Dunstromm had heard about the little girl who was blessed with the Owl’s mark, but this was the first time she was to be presented before Yingard.
“Owl has chosen you as one of his children.” The man knelt in front of her and placed his hand on her shoulder. “You’ve been blessed with the gift of his wisdom and cleverness.”
“I-I don’t feel any wiser.” she muttered under her breath and Yingard laughed softly. “Probably not yet. But in the future, I see that you will become one of the strongest members of our race. He has a plan for you, Ilva Norling; you just need to follow it.”

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Ilva is tall and lean, muscular more in her legs than her arms. She has a hourglass figure with broad shoulders, and her fingers are long but calloused.

Ilva is very pale, with a few scars here and there on her back and arms. Her nails are usually filed or bitten down to the pink.

Facial Features

She has a long, symmetrical face with a defined jaw. Her lips are small but full, like a baby's, with dimples when she smiles, and her nose is Grecian with a tall bridge. Her hazel eyes are almond-shaped with thick lashes. Ilva has defined eyebrows and a small forehead. Her hair is thick and long, and she lets it hang loose besides two pigtails on either side of her face and a thick ponytail in the back.

Personal history

Ilva grew up in the heart of Dunstromm, born into a wealthy merchant family. She studied often and began practicing swordfighting at a young age; everyone knew she'd one day grow up to be a soldier.
At the age of 13, she was visited by the Guardian Owl, and blessed with a scar from his claw on her cheek. After that moment, she devoted herself to his teachings of wisdom and patience. When she turned 19, she became the High Priestess of Owl.
